Emerald Bay Records Will Not Offer Copy-protected CDs
Emerald Bay Records believes you should be able to chose how you listen to your music. The major records labels appear to think of their customers as a bunch of thieves by forcing copy-protection on them.
Copy-protected CDs Not Real Compact Discs®
Philips Electronics, creator of the compact disc format, says the major record company plans for copy-protection creates discs that are not true Compact Disc® and misleads the public.
Copy-protected CDs May Be Unplayable on Some Machines
Copy-protected CDs may not play on Macs and DVD players as well as other machines. COO of the Tower Record chain says it is of no concern to him.
